I hardly have the time to post of late. Being overloaded with work and managing household chores without the help of a domestic helper can be really tiring, and what more having to juggle those with raising the two kids! Even when I do (have the time), I have nothing else to post other than just that – what I did at work, or at home, or how I spend time with the kids. It becomes a boring (and tiring) routine. I need to spice up my life a little – like go out for rock-climbing or kayaking perhaps. Recently, Yati and I started our weekly recreation (playing badminton to exact), for the sake of losing weight and staying healthy.
*…checks clock…* About half past midnight now. And I just got back home from work because of a dateline I have to meet.
I’m told that I work too much. And recently I found out that my blood pressure stood too low to warrant me an OK for blood donation. It was my first rejection after having donated blood five times previously. I think I needed a break – a holiday maybe? When was the last time I’ve been out of town for a vacation, 3 years ago? The road trip to KL last two years didn’t count because it was just a weekend affair, plus I had to drive up (and back down) on my own with no one else to back me up, so the trip tire me more than it did to relax me.
I haven’t thought of going anywhere yet really. I plan to do so when I’m financially free. (Haven’t you noticed prices are shooting up rocket high these days?) Or at least I’ll wait till my boy is old enough to understand what a plane is.
…why is it the harder you try to move straight, the more you lose your sense of direction? …
