Happy New Year!
2011 has been an amazing journey for us, filled with ups and downs. We’re so thankful the year ends on a happy note for us, alhamdulillah.
Here’s to summarize some awesome moments of 2011 during my blogging hiatus.
- November Babies birthday celebration. Hi-Tea, scones and great company! Thank you Liza, Farah & Syidah for making this day a memorable one!
- Cousin Ridhwan & Nadia weds. It was unfortunate we couldn’t be there with them on their joyous occasion, but we’re extremely happy for them!
- Cousin Lilin & Hafiz ties the knot. Congratulations to the newly-weds!
- Great short getaway to Krabi (Thailand) with family and close friends! We had a fabulous time there!
- Holes in heart no more. My thirdborn, Anaqi, has both holes in his heart closed, as we found out during his recent heart scan. All praises to Allah!
While we cherish these happy times, 2011 has also given us moments of grief. We lost a cousin very near and dear to us, due to pneumonia :’(. Her demise has truly shaken our families.
Raihaniah, may Allah bless your soul and place you among the believers.
Hopefully 2012 will bring us more joy, prosperity, wealth, great health, and Barakkah from the Almighty - insyallah. Looking forward to a wonderful 2012 ahead!
I should’ve posted this last night but was just too tired to do so. P & I went to the Airport to see Yati and Sham off. They’re leaving for the UK to attend Lydia’s wedding, and then to Barcelona to watch Motogp and Amsterdam for holidays (…makes me wanna go for another holiday again – Germany in 2007, maybe?). This afternoon I’ve got an overseas call from them. Good to hear they’ve reached there safely.
Yat, when you’re at Catalunya, say hi to Valnetino Rossi, Gibernau and co. for me, will ya?
Hello all,
Can’t talk long. I’m just about 4 hours away from my flight to freaking Rome! *grins* x 74515476572!!
See you all in 2 weeks time!
Unfortunately, I still have not received my CL tickets. Still figuring out if I can get Yati’s and Liza’s help to courier it over to Turin. Wish me luck. If all fail, I need to give that stupid website a good screwing!!
Tata. Take care, ya’ll!! *blows kisses*
Ps: Went for my 2nd scan today! I can finally see his/her heartbeat. So exciting!
No time – will post the scan when I get back!
Toodles!
I have been giving some deep thoughts about the whole idea of going on a vacation. I’ve actually reserved 2 plane tickets to Rome, plus a three nights stay there early March. Kak Zaida from my travel agency has been a really great help. I’m still planning on the itinerary as to where we should be heading to after that. Turin is definitely a place I would want to go. Who cares if people said that area is not so tourist-y?
And now that MUTU IS OFFICIALLY A BIANCONERO, I’m more than looking forward to the visit.
